The Flourisis Monitoring System is a part of Project SWACH for controlling the Flourisis disease in Rajasthan due to high fluoride content of the water. This system monitors all the activities carried out to prevent and control Flourisis at various levels such as villages, blocks and districts.

The system works as a mini GIS and presents all the statistical and monitoring information in the form of graphical maps and textual reports.

The tools/platforms used for the Flourisis Monitoring System are as follows:

• Visual Basic Front-end on Win 95/98/NT platforms. Microsoft Access as database. Crystal Reports is used for report generation.
